Family
Several years ago, my best friend and sister and I decided to pick a date to celebrate being sisters. Yeah, well, might sound a bit mushy, but we love it. So each year in September we send each other a little something to say 'thanks for being you'. It's just a little celebration of family between the two of us. My Sister's Day gift arrived today. It's not Sister's Day today, but it is a very special day for us anyway, so I opened my gift early. I think she'll understand.

Nettie that's beautiful. My sister and I are, by the sounds of it, just like you and your sister. We have a day out together every year, just for us, which I think is a very similar celebration.
And today is a special sad day for you. It's lovely to commemorate it this way.
I was one of your letter swap partners and wanted to I received the package with the dragonfly fabric in it. I was so excited to get it. I can't wait to make something with it. I'll probably either make a bag or a small lap quilt for myself.
